Community Support Terms

Build Athon Together is a community funding initiative supporting the continued development, content, infrastructure, licensing, translations, growth, and operation of Athon.

A contribution is not an investment and does not provide shares, equity, ownership, voting rights, interest, financial return, or control over Athon. Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible donations.

Funds may be used across Athon’s broader mission and operations. Published priorities, goals, and milestones are statements of intended allocation, not guarantees that a specific feature, licence, language, partnership, or delivery date will be achieved.

Plans may change based on campaign performance, licensing negotiations, technical feasibility, Church guidance, third-party agreements, and community needs.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Athon does not directly store full card details. The amount, currency, frequency, and any applicable payment information are shown before confirmation in secure checkout.

A contribution counts toward the public campaign only after successful collection. Failed, test, refunded, or disputed value is excluded from the public total.

If you choose monthly support, Stripe will charge the selected amount each month using your chosen payment method until the recurring support is cancelled or otherwise ends.

You may cancel future monthly support through the Stripe management link provided after checkout or by contacting contact@athonapp.com. Cancellation should be completed before the next billing date. It stops future renewals and does not itself reverse payments already collected; any refund request is handled under the published refund policy and applicable law.

You may choose to display your full name, first name only, or appear as anonymous. Exact payment amounts are hidden by default. Public supporter messages require moderation and may be rejected, hidden, or removed for spam, abuse, impersonation, promotion, political content, or inappropriate theological claims.

Personal information is handled under Athon’s privacy policy. Newsletter consent is optional and may be withdrawn. Transactional messages about a contribution or recurring payment may still be sent where required to provide the service.

These terms take effect on 11 July 2026. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and do not limit rights available under applicable law.
