About the parish
The chapel of the Theotokos is a newly established Spanish orthodox Christian community under the Autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church, serving the greater Vallejo California area. We are a small, forming mission committed to authentic orthodox worship, catechesis, and pastoral care. All are welcome.- whether you are orthodox, inquiring or simply seeking. We walk the ancient faith.
Visiting for the first time?
- Arrive a few minutes early. Sunday services often last up to two hours.
- Dress modestly and follow what others around you do.
- You are welcome to stand and pray, or simply watch. No one expects you to know everything.
- Holy Communion is received by Orthodox Christians who have prepared for it. After the service, introduce yourself to the priest and ask anything you wish.
