About the parish
Parohia Dobric este localizată în Țara Lapusului, la 10 km de orașul Târgu Lăpuș. În acest moment există trei biserici în comunitate, una de zid (din 2001) și două de lemn, monumente istorice de clasa A (1701), respectiv clasa B (aprox. 1750). Comunitatea este formată din 278 de credincioși majori.
Visiting for the first time?
- Arrive a few minutes early. Sunday services often last up to two hours.
- Dress modestly and follow what others around you do.
- You are welcome to stand and pray, or simply watch. No one expects you to know everything.
- Holy Communion is received by Orthodox Christians who have prepared for it. After the service, introduce yourself to the priest and ask anything you wish.
